It's been quite a busy week at the Keeneland September Sale, the energy is high and the prices are even higher! The investing market is holding strong in the $200,000-$400,000 range. At least that was the case with our Hip #379, a Malibu Moon colt out of Wasted Tears. It seemed as though Casse was holding strong but the hammer fell to David Ingordo of Lanes End, and we couldn't more excited to see him head to their first class operation!
Two others in Book 1, #45 and #50 sold to two very gracious buyers. #45 the Gio Ponti went to Blackston Farm and will be shipped to Russia, while the Mineshaft filly #50 will head to Texas in the capable hands of Drs Canon and Trucco, destined for a 2YO sale down the road.
We look forward to seeing them al train!
On to Book 3!
Hip #1789, originally a stand out in Keeneland’s eyes, is a pretty Grand Slam filly out of stakes winner Walloon.
Hip #1888, another Keeneland favorite from our stable, is a Northern Afleet colt out of a stakes placed mare Double Flyight, a stakes producer herself. This colt has a good body and a nice walk.
Also in Book 3 is hip #1895. A Scat Daddy colt out of stakes placed mare, Electric Gold and Hip #1947, another Gio Ponti colt out of a Dixie Union Mare, Groovitude.
